The Quinta do Infantado Reserve Especial Port is a kind of noble Ruby Port that has been treated in the basement with great care. It is a young wine very fruity with characteristics of a "Vintage". Presents a very elegant and above-average quality, with good character.
Solid, chunky and tannic, the wine has a big structure and firm concentration. It is dry, smoky with a bitter chocolate edge and a black fruit aftertaste. Wine Enthusiast 2013
Food-Pairing
Serve chilled as an aperitif with cheese, (smoked) ham and dried fruits. Also great with desserts made from chocolate, fresh fruit, red and wild fruits, a really treat

The Quinta consists for the half of old walled terraces, and the newer part is formed by modern patamares. Exceptional to other Port companies, Quinta do Infantado has always used as few pesticides as possible. Keeping the weeds free is done in an environmentally friendly way. The vineyard is divided into two parts. Barreiro, is organic and the Serra, where the vintage Ports are made

Can be drunk immediately and must not be decanted.
Store the bottle upright at a constant temperature and away from intense direct light.
After opening 8 to 10 weeks shelf life. Serve at 12-15 °C
