Among port wine lovers, the 1985 vintage is considered a classic – as Warre's Vintage Port impressively demonstrates. An extremely elegant wine, ‘remarkably pretty’ according to Jancis Robinson. Now the Symingtons are bringing it back onto the market: matured for forty years in their own cellars and recorked in 2018, in a strictly limited quantity of just 1,000 bottles, labelled as a ‘Private Cellar Release’.

This port is delicious with foie gras, certain cheeses (Gorgonzola, Roquefort), as an aperitif or as dessert wine

Grapes: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca

Made from grapes from Quinta da Cavadinha and Quinta do Retiro in Cima Corgo.
