Tawny wine with a remarkable tertiary evolution denoting aromas of a good wood with vanillas and spices enhancing peppers with a cinnamon touch. Good volume and elegance followed by a long finish
Colheita's are seen as Tawny's of very high quality. Comes from a single harvest and has spent at least 7 years in French oak barrels of approximately 550 liters. Colheita port wine represents less than 1% of the total annual production of port. Like Vintage, a Colheita port is only released when the best conditions are met and after approval of the IDVP (Instituto dos Vinhos do Douro e do Porto)
Food-Pairing
Excellent as an aperitif, with dried fruits and light sweet desserts (crème brûlée), matches well with pâtés, alone as a digestive, or finishing a meal with soft cheeses

Store horizontally at a constant temperature of 12 °C.
