Grahams Tawny 80 years
Crafted by our Head Winemaker and Master Blender, Charles Symington (4th generation), this extraordinary 80 Year Old Tawny Port was created to honour the 80th birthday of his father and predecessor, Peter Symington (3rd generation), celebrating a lifetime devoted to the art of fine port making. Such was the unparalleled quality of this blend that it was deemed worthy of bottling as a limited edition masterpiece — an exclusive release of just 600 bottles worldwide.
Composed of rare wines from the 1940s, many originating during the Second World War, this venerable port embodies over eight decades of history, craftsmanship, and quiet maturation. From the first sip, it enchants and captivates. Its aromatic complexity unfolds in layers of walnut, treacle, honey, coffee, and dried fig, followed by a luxuriant, velvety palate that is both intensely rich and exquisitely refined. Subtle notes of caramel, mandarin, quince, praline, vanilla, and butterscotch reveal themselves in a lingering finish touched with tobacco and black tea. A gentle thread of acidity lends the wine remarkable freshness, balance, and poise.
This is not merely an old port — it is the epitome of vinous elegance, a celebration of time, heritage, and sensory perfection.
