For the production of this red wine from the Dão region, the grapes were harvested manually, followed by total decantation and soft crushing, with the must being transported to temperature-controlled fermentation vats with frequent pumping over. The fermentation and macération pellicular took about 5 days. The wine matured for 6 months in stainless steel barrels
