Quinta S. João Batista is located in Ribatejo, in Riachos, in the demarcated region of Tejo, and has a history that has been lost due to noble succession, donations to religious orders and many other events. In 1987, the company was acquired by Caves Dom Teodósio (a company that would later join the Enoport United Wines Group). The centuries-old history of Quinta S. João Batista, with approximately 145 hectares, is well represented in the colonial-style manor house and also includes the architectural complex with cellars for ageing wine and a traditional winery. The wines of Quinta de São João Batista are good ambassadors of this terroir and this region of the Tagus.

88/100 - Wine Enthusiast Tasted: May 2020
With six months in wood, the wine has a fine spicy touch. It has ripe red berry fruits and perfumed acidity from the blend of 70% Touriga Franca with Alicante Bouschet. The wine is ready to drink. Roger Voss
