H.M. Borges 10 year old Malmsey Madeira - Sweet
€ 37.50
Malmsey is the English name of the more famous grape name, Malvasia, and at the same time the name of the sweetest style of Madeira wine. Although this is the sweetest category in Madeira, it should be noted that the accompanying acid keeps the whole in balance and thus prevents the wine from becoming sticky or heavy. The result is a smooth wine with an aroma and flavor of dried fruit (resin, fig), orange peel and a little cream caramel
