A classic territorial wine, linked to the estate, offering an unfiltered expression of Taboadella’s wonderful terroir, as we idealised it when we first arrived.

With almost indescribable aromatic complexity, it is a great white wine that is firm, with a silky texture and refined linearity. With high concentration, it is a magnificent wine with a vibrant acidity that only the Dão region can offer, with a long, persistent and very precise finish.

It is a white wine that presents an interesting aromatic complexity, revealing notes of white pulp fruits, such as apricots, pears and peaches, blending with citrus nuances, such as grapefruit and orange peel. It is a very mineral white wine, fresh and unctuous, with balsamic notes of great quality and very balanced acidity.

Delicious with fish, grilled fresh fish, white meat and as an aperitif

Grapes come from south-east oriented vineyards at an altitude of 485m

After the pressing process, the wine fermented at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. The wine was transferred to new French oak barrels, where it remained in contact with fine lees and subjected to regular stirring for 12 months in 500 liters new french oak barrels, before being decanted, filtered and bottled.

Wood aging and a few years' age have given richness and spice to ripe white fruits in this wine. A mineral texture and balanced freshness work well with the fruit and promise further aging. Drink from 2024. Roger Voss
