This Quinta do Vesuvio 2011 Vintage port wine is a beautiful, powerful and aromatic wine with a touch of florality. On the palate a lush taste of liquorice and blueberry flavors, enveloping the well-integrated, peppery tannins. A crunchy acidity underscores the profile of the wine, and reveals a wine that is smooth and yet tight. This is a beautifully balanced wine with the classic Vesuvio velvety elegance that has turned this Quinta into one of the largest producers of vintage port wines in the Douro in the past 20 years.

"Red and black berries bring out the richness of the year, masking the seriously tannic structure. The wine has great spice, richness and a dark, smoky core of powerful tannins. For long-term aging, but delicious now"
