Following the success of the "Friends Gin Premium Touriga Nacional edition", our friends Luis Ferreira and Tiago Cabaço surprise us with this news. This gin is characterized by great aromatic citrus intensity, a certain voluptuousness and some dryness, a balance between acidity and aromatic exuberance, more floral than citric. With 28 botanists, it underwent an oak barrel stage and quadruple distillation in two traditional column Alembics made in Portugal.
Fashion in the gins came to stay, with producers betting on innovation. From Estremoz, in the Alentejo, the first gin made from grapes from the national touriga caste, staggered in barrels, now appears. It was four years to make microdistillations of gin - in all, more than a thousand - for Tiago Cabaço and Luís Ferreira to agree on the formula that led them to bottle the first gin made from Touriga Nacional, a typically portuguese grape variety from which some of the country's most prestigious wines.
