Derived from one harvest (year) and one grape variety or blend and may only be bottled after five years of ripening. These wines, like vintage frasqueira, have a harvest year on the label, but the quality and concentration are less. It also has a shorter ripening than the Vintage Madeira. It's actually a category that came in between the blends and the frasqueira
