White Port

White port is simply a port made of white grapes instead of red. In recent years there have emerged various kinds; Some producers focus on light-colored, fresh, aperitif-like wines, which are made like white wine, but are added to alcohol just before the end of fermentation. The more traditional type is full of color and taste. Dry and sweet types are made, but only in dry conditions it is labeled, because it assumes that the port is sweet.
 
Chilled white port is tasty as an aperitif and can also be drank as a refreshing drink with ice cream and lemonade or tonic.
