Dark in colour as all vintages should be. Intense aromas of red fruits such as berries, wild brambles and a lot of fig, almost as if the vines had bloomed at the same time as the fig trees scattered on some of the farm's terraces. Also appear aromas of Esteva and Urze all packed with great complexity by the slow fermentation during 15 days in which the autochthonous yeasts transformed the sugars of the mature grapes. In the mouth, the black fruits, tobacco, coffee and chocolate stand out again in an explosion of fresh, vigorous wine with intense acidity.
Late Bottled Vintage is a Ruby type of port wine that gets a 4-6 years on barrel. Also called the Horeca-Vintage because he can stay open longer and has no dregs, which makes it more easily manageable in Horeca business
