This delicious port is a deep purple in color, with a concentrated taste of jam, black fruit and plum. The Real Companhia Velha Vintage port reveals an enormous aromatic intensity. The taste is round, powerful and fruity but with a very elegant structure ending in a long finish, which gives it a great aging capacity.

This port is delicious with foie gras, certain cheeses (Gorgonzola, Roquefort), as an aperitif or as a dessert wine

Critics & Awards
As is well known, only the best wines of a particular vintage are used for a vintage port, whose high quality is clearly established. The wine is fortified in the traditional way and ages further in the bottle, unlike the Late Bottled Vintage, which undergoes a lengthy barrel aging prior to bottling.
