A red vintage port almost inky black in colour, with a concentrated aroma of black fruit, blackberries, black plum and cistus. The taste is velvety, full and sweet, very elegant and fruity, with a very long finish.

This port is delicious with foie gras, certain cheeses (Gorgonzola, Roquefort), as an aperitif or as a dessert wine

Critics & Awards
As is well known, only the best wines of a particular vintage are used for a vintage port, whose high quality is clearly established. The wine is fortified in the traditional way and ages further in the bottle, unlike the Late Bottled Vintage, which undergoes a lengthy barrel aging prior to bottling.
