Like the renewed Senior Tawny port with the well-known moustache, there is also a Junior Ruby port version. A young, fresh, contemporary port, whatever the sunglasses on the bottle want to portray. Unlike a tawny, this port is soon bottled and then matured further in bottle. This optimally preserves the youthfulness and freshness, together with the dark fruit. The port is nicely full of taste, with intense tones of plums, blackberries and a hint of chocolate
Food pairing
Delicious with soft cheeses (Brie, Port Salut) or semi-matured cheeses. Also ideal for desserts made from chocolate, fresh fruit, red and wild fruits. Or how about pepper steak, a true delicacy
Grapes: Roriz, Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Francisca, Tinta Cao, Tinta Amarela, Sousão
from old vines with low production in the Cima Corgo, in the Douro Valley. Grapes are, for the most part, crushed in lagares [large presses], followed by a short stay in French oak barrels, in the cellars of Vila Nova de Gaia

Serve at 12-14°C
Can be drunk immediately and does not need to be decanted. Store bottle upright at a constant temperature and away from intense direct light. Can be kept for 6 weeks after opening
