Hardly known to the general public are the sparkling wines of Portugal. The best ones are made in the traditional way and come from the Dao region, a region known more for its red wines.

This sparkling wine from the Dao has a tender pink salmon color with fine bubbles. The aroma is complex and elegant. Fresh and textured palate with a creamy body and a citric finish.

Delicious with oily fish, grilled fresh fish, white meat and as aperitifef
Grapes: Touriga Nacional
Harvest by hand. The grapes were destemmed and immediately pressed in a pneumatic press. The clear juice was cooled and decanted at low temperature for 24h. The fermentation took place in stainless steel vat. An in-tank batonnage was followed for 3 months. The second fermentation followed the traditional method of fermentation in bottle, which was held in cool cellar for 24 months.
Store & Serve
Store the bottle on its side at a constant 15 °C. Serve chilled to 8 °C.
