A dry Madeira wine, clear-light yellow in color. An intense and elegant aroma of dried fruits with a hint of toast in the aroma. A beautiful acidity, balanced and a young wine, and therefore easy to drink. Walnut nuances in the aftertaste.
Food-pairing
The fine and elegant fruit quality of this dry Madeira wine makes it suitable for serving as an aperitif, slightly chilled, with olives, roasted almonds, smoked salmon, sushi, caviar, oysters, tuna, light soups, salads, ham, dry fruits such as almonds and walnuts.
Grapes: Tinta Negra Mole
Originally, Madeira was made from four grape varieties, producing four Madeira varieties. The name referred to the grape variety used. Sercial was a dry Madeira, Verdelho was a semi-dry, Bual was a semi-sweet and the Malmsey was a sweet Madeira. Nowadays, the different types of Madeira are made from one wine variety: the Tinta Negra, which is flavored with small amounts of the traditional grapes. The four different types of Madeira are still made today. The distinction is no longer made according to grape variety, but according to taste: dry, medium dry, medium sweet and sweet

Store & Szerve
Always store a Madeira wine upright.
Madeira's acids are so strong that they attack the cork if the bottle is stored horizontally
Serve at 10°C as an aperitif or at 16°C as a dessert wine.
Madeira is a wine that has been aged for several years in an oxidative environment, before being bottled in a reductive environment. It is therefore useful to open the bottles a few hours in advance. The bottles can then be stored almost indefinitely, as the air no longer affects Madeira wines. In fact, after months - if there is any left - the wine tastes better than when the bottle was opened.
