History in
An intense orange core that fades into a reddish rim. In the nose it presents mature and complex, loaded with subtle nuances. Aromas at plum and fig that combine with sweet notes to marzipan and biscuit. Suggestions of cedar wood and leather add an exotic dimension to the nose. The wine, round and seductive, with discrete but well integrated tannins, presents an attractive acidity. Flavors rich English cake and fresh plum stand out in a long finish. Beautifully balanced and harmonious, with all the elegance and intensity conferred by aging in oak casks.
Food-Pairing
Combines particularly well with flavours of almonds, berry fruit or dark chocolate. It can also be enjoyed as an accompaniment for rich, blue veined cheeses.
