Colheita is Portuguese and which means harvest year and therefore indicates a port from a certain good harvest year. The wine must have aged in a wooden barrel for at least seven years and is then tawny in color and ready to be drunk. The harvest year and the year of bottling are stated on the bottle.

This colheita porto has aromas of raisins, dried fruits, vanilla and a long finish.

Food pairing

Can be drunk as a dessert wine with coffee and chocolate. Also delicious with fruit tarts and crème brûlée.

Store & Serve

Serve at room temperature. Can be stored and drunk for another 6 to 8 weeks after opening.
