Hardly known to the general public are the sparkling wines of Portugal. The best ones are made in the traditional way and come from the Dao region, a region known more for its red wines.
This sparkling wine is an ideal appetizer and affordable alternative for his companion the Champagne.
This sparkling wine from the Dao is light salmon colored with an aroma of dried fruit and citrus and is light mineral. Has a good citrus-like acidity, fine bubbles, elegant, fresh and creamy in the mouth

Grapes: Touriga Nacional & Tinta Pinheira
The grapes were destemmed and immediately pressed in a pneumatic press. The juice was cooled and decanted at low temperature for 24 hours. The fermentation took place in stainless steel vessels under controlled temperature for about 3 weeks. The wine remained only in stainless steel to preserve all the aromas. The second fermentation followed the traditional fermentation method in the bottle, kept in a cool cellar for 18 months
