It is a beautiful expression of the region with dark red fruit, warm rocky earth, leather, pine needles, salted meat and black pepper. The taste is juicy with fine tannins, solid acid and lots of minerality. This dry red wine combines best with smoked and stewed meat

Grapes: Tinta Amarela (Trincadeira, Castelão), Baga & Jaen

A blend of Jaen (Mencia), Baga, Tinta Amarela (Trincadeira) and about 20 other varieties of 50-100 old vines from a 450-meter vineyard with granite soil. Organically grown, harvested by hand and vinified with natural fermentation in open barrels and aged in used barrels of different sizes and steel tanks for 18 months. Only a little sulfur added per bottle
