Montado is an excellent choice for a wine from the Alentejo region with a correct price / quality ratio. The purchase of Casa Agricola José de Sousa Rosado Fernandes in 1986 was a long-cherished dream for José Maria da Fonseca. Montado was first produced in 1991 and has kept the original blend ever since.
The wine has a ruby red color, smelling of black currants, mixed with chocolate, tobacco and a light oak wood touch. The taste is fruity, elegant with soft tannins.

Grapes: Alicante Bouschet (9%), Trincadeira (38%), Aragonês (43%), Syrah (10%)
Maceration until the end of the alcoholic fermentation at a constant temperature of 28ºC. Ages for 4 months in French and American oak barrels
