Pintas Character is a full-bodied red wine, with fresh notes of black cherry, plum and wild berries, complex smoky notes and minerals in a very fine, concentrated but elegant pallet. Velvety texture, full and impressive, high quality fruit. Wonderfully balanced and long finish

Excellent red wine with red (grilled) meat and roast beef
Grapes: 43 year old vines, including Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Rufete, Tinta Amarela, Tinta Cão, Sousão and Tinta Barroca)
All grapes previously selected and de-stemmed were foot trodden in stone lagares during all the fermentation process (10 days).
Matures for 18 months in partly new French oak barrels
