Touriga Nacional is the noblest variety in the Douro. It is an intense and concentrated red wine, with a refined tannin structure, Touriga Nacional is distinguished by its delicate aromas. It is the result of a strict selection of the best plots of Quinta da Devesa. The aroma reveals balsamic notes of oak, very ripe red fruit and violet. In the mouth it is concentrated, with a long and fresh finish.

Grapes: 100% Touriga Nacional
Careful selection of the best grapes, with manual harvest. Grapes are destemmed and crushed with their feet in the granite lagares. After the temperature has reached 20-22 ºC, fermentation begins, which is always kept at a controlled temperature between 22 and 25 º, it lasts 5 to 7 days. Short-term pump-overs. Every 3 hours Delestage and pump-overs with aeration. Maceration after fermentation for 1 to 2 days. Aged for 12 months in new French oak barrels and a minimum of 12 months in bottle.
