This red wine has an intense ruby red color, fresh but dense and velvety, a perfect harmony in which the wild fruits of the Douro and the violets typical of the variety are mixed with the rock rose and some toasted notes. It is a refined Touriga Nacional, very elegant, with ripe tannins, exuberant and with excellent persistence. A delight for the senses!

Cadão Douro Reserva Touriga Nacional is a red wine produced from the autochthonous red grape, Touriga Nacional. After partial destemming, and pressing, the wine was macerated for a short period with the skins prior to being transferred to stainless steel tanks where the fermentation process has taken place. Then the wine was transferred to French oak barrels where it has remained for 6 months prior to being bottled. The wine has remained further 6 months prior to being offered for sale.
