This delicious red wine from Quinta do Pôpa Tinto is ruby red in color. Has aromas of ripe red fruit and some herbs. Is soft in the mouth, has a good acidity and is rich in fruity tannins. A wine with structure, but rather fresh and balanced. Has an elegant, soft and extremely charismatic aftertaste. A top wine!

Food pairing

Excellent wine with game, or fried and stewed meat dishes (spicy, white or red meat), red and even with fish. Also an excellent aperitif wine with some appetizers

Grapes: 30% Vinhas Velhas (vines> 80 years old), 30% Tinta Roriz, 20% Touriga Franca, 10% Tinta Amarela & 10% Tinto Cão

Alcoholic fermentation with temperature control for 11 days. After fermentation, the wine was transferred to vessels for malolactic fermentation followed by aging in barrels for 10 till 15 months. Enologists are João Menezes & Francisco Montenegro
