Grapes: Touriga Franca (30%) , Tinta Roriz (40%) & Touriga Nacional (15%), Tinta Barroca (10%), Tinto Cão (5%)
Grapes are selected at the entrance of the winery. Total de-stemming, cold pre-maceration for 5 days and fermentation in stainless steel vats for 8 days under a controlled temperature. Four “delastages” a day to extract delicate and soft tanins. Aged for 11 months in barrels, mostly french oak (70% 2nd year oak + 30% 3rd year oak)
