Grapes : Field blend of over 30 indigenous grape varieties of 35-year-old vines (Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão, Tinta Francisca, Malvasia Preta, Tinta Francisca, Bastardinho,...)
After a long maceration of 12 days, the wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks, at controlled temperatures for further 26 days. The wine has stayed in new's French oak barrels, for 18 months, and further 12 months of maturation into the bottle.
