Grapes: Touriga Nacional, Alfrocheiro, Tinta Roriz
The grapes are hand harvested, carefully selected and transported in small boxes of 18 kg, followed by a second selection upon arrival at the winery. Maceration in small granite "lagares" for 2 days at low temperature. The fermentation lasted about 15 days, with gentle pumping for a good extraction of color and aromas. After the fermentation, the wine was transferred to a stainless steel tank where it naturally decanted until the time of bottling.
