This ruby port wine has a very deep red color. An aromatic nose of wild fruits. On the palate, the Porto is nicely structured, juicy, round, full and soft tannins. The Porto has a long lingering finish and a nice balance between its sweetness and freshness.
Food-Pairing
Great with sweet desserts and soft or salted cheeses, foie gras, liver pies and dried fruits.
Grapes: Touriga Nacional , Touriga Franca , Tinta Roriz & Tinta Barroca
Caves (cellers) Vale do Rodo are located in the parish of “Peso da Régua e Godim”, in the district of Vila Real - Douro valley, in the north of Portugal. It is here, in the heart of the Douro region that high quality DOC Port wines are produced.
The uniqueness of their “terroirs " of the Lower and upper Corgo, along with the experience of many years in this business and the dedication of its members, certainly made a difference by focusing on a set of cooperative and private enterprise with such different functions of production and trade.
It is from this synergy that arises the company RÉCCUA Port Wines SA, an innovative restructuring of Caves Vale do Rodo, CRL bringing more value, greater capacity and higher quality at such respected brands as “Cabeça de Burro” and "RÉCCUA", without forgetting the wines “Encostas do Peso” e “Caves Vale do Rodo”.
This efforts have resulted in many awards, year after year and major national and international recognition.
Although rooted in two major brands “Cabeça de Burro” and "RECCUA" the company has invested in new wineries, as states the latest Sparkling Douro “Cabeça de Burro” Dry and Bruit, a preferred selection in the arts, golf and fashion events
