This deep-garnet colored postage has been lying in oak barrels for about 8 years. This long ripening is expressed in aroma and taste like dried fruit (figs, raisins, prunes) and sweet spices (cinnamon, vanilla) aromas, as well as some subtle flavors of caramel. Fresh acidity and a slight sweetness. The soft tannins are well integrated.
