This wine is suited to be matched with main dishes of fish and sea food as well as with grilled white meats.
Grapes: 100% Antão Vaz
Slow fermentation in stainless steel vats, at 12ºC. Intensive mixing during the first 30 days in barrels. 50% is aged for 6 months in French and American oak barrels.
Much of the wine production is sold; only a small selection - superior quality grapes - are used for the production of their own wines. This wine comes from very poor soils of slate and granite, with a continental Mediterranean climate, ie hot and dry days and very cold nights.
