Vinification
Everything is hand-picked and transported with small boxes to avoid bruising. No enzymes are used; spontaneous fermentation on stainless steel barrels with temperature control. Is then kept "sur lie" for a few months, then lightly filtered and bottled. The vineyards are located on the banks of the Douro, but fall just outside the Douro wine region.
This rosé is therefore sold under the appellation "Vinho Verde" but the winemakers prefer to talk about "Douro Verde".
