Winemaker
For more than 20 years, the name João Portugal Ramos has been linked to Portuguese wines, first as a consultant oenologist of well-known wines, and since 1992, as a producer. He chose Alentejo as a region to produce his first wines. Thus arose the Marquês de Borba, Vila Santa, Quinta da Viçosa and Loios; then it was Ribatejo's turn, with the main aim of enriching the wines from this region and making them better known all over the world. And so in 2004 Falua Sociedade de Vinhos, S.A in Almeirim, Tejo was born.
The wines are highly appreciated in the Portuguese and foreign markets.
