Casa Santos Lima Al-Ria is a wine with a deep colour, with violet shades and good concentration in the nose. It's a lovely vintage of this wine, based on the dark-coloured, perfumed touriga nacional grape, with tinta roriz (Spain's tempranillo) for structure and freshness, and international interloper syrah for its spice. Rich in aroma, with notes of ripe black fruits, jam and floral. In the palate it presents smooth and velvety notes of ripe fruit, chocolate and vanilla. Multi-layered, fragrant and seductive with generous spicy flavour.
A wine from the Algarve, with Diogo Sepulveda as an oenologist. Diogo is one of the young oenologists of Portugal who now also operate in Casa Santos Lima after Quinta do Pinto and Chocapalha. For 2 years he has been responsible for the production of wines in different regions and has already won several prizes and medals.
