Light, pure red color. Fragrant and inviting, with aromas of red berries and stone fruit, cedar and dried leaves on the nose. On the palate it shows an attractive and hearty character underpinned by lively freshness and a persistent finish accompanied by a slightly spicy note.
Whether she likes it or not, Filpa Pato will always be compared to her father, Luis Pato, the famous winemaker in Bairrada. However, she is very self-supporting and has created her own name in the wine world.
Filipa of course learned a lot from his father, but also gained experience in grape growing and winemaking in other parts of the world, such as Argentina, Bordeaux and Australia. In addition, her husband, a sommelier from Belgium, contributes a lot of inspiration and help. Filipa is dedicated and determined, with a desire to produce honest, drinkable and terroir-typical wines, with moderate alcohol and good freshness. Something she manages with style. Her wines appear as some of the most interesting and flavoursome from Beiras. The wines also represent an excellent price-quality ratio.
