A red wine from a new vineyard of Carlos Lucas, whose Dão wines we have been following for several years. This big, juicy wine is full of ripe, vibrant fruit. Black currant flavors and acidity are combined in a floral opulence. A wine that will develop further in the bottle.

Grapes: 100% Touriga Franca
Total destemming. Skin maceration for 24 hour. Fermentation in stainless steeltanks with temperatures aroudd 20ºC. Gentle remixesto extract color andaromas. Natural decanting and light filtration before bottling
The property is located in the municipality of Tabuaço, in the parish of Granjinha, next to the right bank of the river Távora. This has 30 ha of vines, some of them over 100 years old, with a schist soil with some granitic outcrops. It lies at an altitude of between 250 to 470 m, with hot summers and little annual precipitation.
