An excellent vintage year that has produced solid wines. Some preferred 1982 but it looks like 1983 is even better. A stylish vintage port wine, large with a good balance between fruit and tannins. Ranks in the top 3 Ports of Graham's and even better than all the excellent 1982 vintage. Violet-black in color, full-bodied, with an overwhelming strawberry aroma, full tannins and a long finish.
