Dark and youthful in color for its age. The 1987 vintage is very soft and smooth, and has a long finish. Bottled in 1989. A fresh and very rich aroma characteristic of a good vintage port
Food pairing
Ideal after meals. Perfect with Queijo da Serra, Stilton, Roquefort, Gorgonzola and other blue cheeses. Also delicious with all egg-based desserts
Grapes: Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão, Tinta Francisca, trincadeira, Sousão & Touriga Nacional
The grapes come from old vines with low production, located in the Cima Corgo region, in the Douro Valley
Store & Serve
Store horizontally, at a constant temperature away from intense direct light. Since this wine is still maturing in the bottle, sediment can form over time, so that the wine has to be decanted before consumption. Open 2 hours before decanting. After decanting, the wine will quickly reach its peak and is best consumed during the day. Drink between 16º C - 18º C
