The dark deep red color of this port already gives an indication of the complexity of this wine. This red port has a strong aroma of berries and herbs. The taste is dense and full, young and balanced, with an intense attack of the typical floral aromas from the Douro, complemented by hints of chocolate. All this underpinned by a firm tannin structure. Sweet, with a long, velvety finish. A large port with a great aging potential.

Critics & Awards
As is well known, only the best wines of a particular vintage are used for a vintage port, whose high quality is clearly established. The wine is fortified in the traditional way and ages further in the bottle, unlike the Late Bottled Vintage, which undergoes a lengthy barrel aging prior to bottling.
