Deep purple in colour, with a concentrated aroma of jam, black fruit, plum and cistus. The taste is round and powerful, fruity with an elegant structure. A strong fruity set finishes long and persistent, giving it great aging potential.

This port is delicious with foie gras, certain cheeses (Gorgonzola, Roquefort), as an aperitif or as a dessert wine

As is well known, only the best wines of a particular vintage are used for a vintage port, whose high quality is clearly established. The wine is fortified in the traditional way and ages further in the bottle, unlike the Late Bottled Vintage, which undergoes a lengthy barrel aging prior to bottling.
