Deep purple in colour, concentrated aroma with black plum fruit plant such as cistus, heather and rosemary in a background of wild red fruits. In the mouth it shows a combination of power and elegance with tight and very firm tannins, solid set that ends long and promising, giving it great potential for aging.

As is well known, only the best wines of a particular vintage are used for a vintage port, whose high quality is clearly established. The wine is fortified in the traditional way and ages further in the bottle, unlike the Late Bottled Vintage, which undergoes a lengthy barrel aging prior to bottling.
