Herdade dos Outeiros ALTOS is a small family company near the city of Estremoz, in the Alentejo region, one of the most important and prestigious wine regions in Portugal.

At the same time one of the few organic vineyards, situated in a remote location, away from the conventional areas and the use of chemicals by numerous farmers and vintners.

From the outset, the goal of this agricultural project was not only to promote biodiversity and environmental protection but also to produce authentic and individual pure organic wines.

Based on the local viticulture and winemaking practices, even dating back to Roman times, and on condition that they be used advantageously for the quality of the wines. This also applies to the maturation of the organic wine in clay amphores.

Herdade dos Outeiros ALTOS differs as a wine company from the usual mass production standard in the Alentejo with its small wine area of only 6 ha
