The wine is made in the same manner as a solid port, but it also has a longer fermentation period. Hierna wordt de Port, voor een period van three jaar, op hout geijpt. It ages in old oak vats for a period of 3 years, revealing itself mature and sweet, with a golden colour and characterized for its fruity, balanced notes.
