This is the most intense and piercing of the excellent white wines from Antonio Madeira. This white wine expresses the character and elegance of the country where it has been born, and it takes us on a journey back in time to discover the aromas and flavors of the foothills of Serra da Estrela, just as in former times. Deep, full of character, pure fruit, floral notes, fennel, ginger, wet granite. Fresh, salty, sleek, elegant and full of power. Asks for another glass. Tasty, intense and long mineral aftertaste. Think of the racy spine of Riesling with the texture of something along the lines of Grenache Blanc or similar and you're in the right zone. It's a gorgeous white wine. A limited production of 2,000 bottles

this wine will goes wonderfully well with fish, poultry or white meat dishes and is an excellent ally of cheese

Grapes: Field blend with amongs others, Siria, Fernão Pires, Bical, Arinto, Cerceal

This field blend is comprised of 23 native Portuguese white varieties grown on granite soils across two vineyards, one 25 years of age, the other averaging over 80 years. This wine was vinified in stainless steel barrels, without the addition of sulfites
