A clear straw-colored white wine. An aroma dominated by floral tones complemented by notes of ripe lemon and the light minerality typical of the granite soils. It is a dry wine with a rich and balanced taste of stone fruit, especially peach and apricot. Creamy at first, then transformed into an explosion of flowers,
fruit and a well-balanced minerality and crystal-clear acidity that are so typical of this grape. Excellent texture, and a long finish that hints at a
good potential for ageing in the cellar. Truly gastronomic wine
Food-Pairing
Ideal as an aperitif, tasty with grilled fish and seafood and with various hors d'oeuvre
Grapes: 100% Avesso
The Avesso is a white Portuguese grape variety, which adds a lot of body to the mostly light wines from the north of the country. Avesso means contradictory in Portuguese and this variety owes its name to the fact that the alcohol percentage - unlike the other types in Northern Portugal - is high. At the end of the 19th century, mention is made of this variety for the first time.

Although this wine is made on the banks of the Douro, it is not allowed to carry the name because the domain is just outside the border of the wine region. This white wine is therefore sold under the appellation "Vinho Verde" but the winemakers prefer to talk about "Douro Verde"
