Dona Berta Rabigato 2019 Vinhas Velhas Branco Reserva
For nearly 40 years, Hernani Verdelho started a project to convert and improve its vinicultural heritage of old vineyards. The design of this wine had the basic idea of expressing the character of the Rabigato grape variety, much cultivated in the Douro. Today, after nine harvests, it is confirmed that Rabigato is one of the best Portuguese white varieties. Vineyards located at a high altitude allows a slow maturation and therefore balanced and perfumed grapes.
Dona Berta Rabigato Reserva Vinhas Velhas is an elegant white wine with an impressive aromatic structure. It features an wide and open bouquet highlighting aromas of citrus and whitebark fruits, such as green apples and pears, a velvety texture, mineral notes, and polished acidity.
