This refined golden white wine has an aroma of fresh tropical fruit such as melon and ripe apple. An elegant structure, fresh, balanced and with a lively acidity. Already nice to drink
Food-Pairing
Ideal as an aperitif, tasty with grilled fish and seafood, with salads from quiches and with Asian dishes including sushi and sashimi
Grapes: Encruzado 50%, Cerceal & Bical (50%)
Grapes come from 45-year-old vineyards, located at an altitude of 500 m and planted in granite soils with lines of sand. After a few hours of skin contact on the day of harvest, a very slow fermentation followed for two months and batonage for 3 months.
The demarcated area of Dão was founded in 1908, framed by three mountain massifs - Buçaco, Caramulo and Serra da Estrela - that protect it from the Atlantic winds
