A white wine based on Viognier with a very good and balanced acidity, which illustrates the originality and profile of the grape variety, lemony color and aroma of white fruit and ripe citrus fruit presents
After 30 years of winemaking, a new era begins in 2005 with the planting of four grape varieties. A year later, the first grapes were vinified in the winery, three references that remain: Chardonnay, Viognier and 5ª of Lagar Novo. The Arinto and the Marsanne joined them later.
Quinta do Lagar Novo has more than 200 vines, on 5ha of vineyards, led by Luis de Carvalho, who counts on the efforts of his sons Tiago, João and Helena.
At Quinta do Lagar Novo five white wines are now produced, of great oenological value, from the Chardonnay varieties (high quality and charisma), Viognier (originality and elegance), Arinto (aromatic and rich in acidity) to the Marsanne (full taste and body anointing).
